Pharma Ratna Universe 2023

The Pharma Ratna Universe 2023 was held at Crown Plaza Hotel Rohini Delhi. The event hosted more than 350 members from across the Global Pharma Industry. These members included Pharma Leaders, Mentors, Regulatory, Manufacturers, Academicians, Drug Safety, Exporters & Importers.

The event had so many takeaways for all the members who were present there. The event was divided into three major segments. Where first half of the event was primarily based on education, panel discussions & Question Answer sections. Second half included award distribution & recognition. Third major attraction was Exhibition Hall where different exhibitors displayed their products and services.

The event started with National Anthem in order to show respect and integrity. Later on followed by welcome notes from Mohd Shahbaz Alam, Anita Shahbaz & Dr. Wasif Khan. They took audience on a journey of Pharma Ratna right from 2016 when first event was held. Preceded by address from Pharma Mentors Dr. S. V. Veeramani (Chairman Pharmexil)

There were three sessions conducted in first half each pointing to an important issue or opportunity that pharma industry faces.

First of which was “Breaking Barriers: Unveiling Opportunities and Overcoming challenges in Pharma Globalization”. This discussion included six panelists namely Ashok Bhatia Group CEO Abacus Uganda, Sumantha Chaudhary Ex. MD IPCA Pharma Nigeria, Ashish Shrivastava Director, Pharmaxx Inc. USA, Priya Hingorani Vice President GSK MENA Region, Priti Jitani GM – Pharma Nutra Cambodia and Guriqbal Singh, Director, RegWeb Consulting Services Inc., Canada. Hosted by Hitesh Upreti Global Business Head Yash Lifesciences, Zambia.

Second Session was panel discussion “Legacy Insights: Conversation with Regulatory Pioneers”. This session was joined by regulatory stalwarts like Dr. Surinder Singh Former Drug Controller General of India, Dr. B.P.N. Prasad Former Drug Controller General of India and Dr. S. Eswara Reddy Joint Drug Controller General of India. Hosted by Mohd Shahbaz Alam.

Third session was penal discussion “Current Quality Issues Experienced by Indian Manufacturers”. Joined by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Jain PR Marketing President – India Operation Amneal Pharmaceuticals, K.R Chawla Licensing Authority NCT, Delhi, DR. Ajay Sachan Deputy Drugs Controller (India, CDSCO, HQ) Dr. Khalid Khan Deputy Drugs Controller (Karnataka) and Moxesh Zota MD, Davaindia Gujarat. Hosted by Ranjit Barshikar CEO, QBD International United Nations Advisor.

The Pharma Ratna team also revealed new logos for “Pharma Ratna Expo” & “Pharma Ratna Universe”. Pharma Ratna Expo is a new initiative that will come alive in 2024, which will be focused on organizing annual exhibitions for pharma industry.

Before lunch there was time allocated for the audience to visit exhibitors. The exhibitors from pharma manufacturing and service industries were representing at this exhibition. Davaindia, Clinical Research Network India, Meher International, Pharma Vigil, Sanjeevani, Zota Healthcare, Vantage Pharma, Mascot Pharma, Consern Pharma, Centurion Pharma, Eqova Medicare, Physiovits Nutraceuticals, RegWeb, ZP MediHeal, Forgo Pharmaceuticals, Drug Laboratories, Pharma Shree, M F B Herbals, Microfalcon, Pharma Ratna Expo, Pharmaways Global Pvt. Ltd., Pranithi Herbals, Abhiflax, Amaria Pharmacy, Sanify Healthcare, Salud Care, Ruan Life, Ample Logic, Nanos Medicare & Zymeth were amongst the exhibitors.

Apart from the exhibition stalls exhibitors were also provided 3 minute time slot to talk about their product and services in the main session before lunch break.
